The GEWANDHAUS MUSEUMS‘ Exhibition
offers visitors a fascinating insight into the
history of fashion and costume over a period
of 500 years.
The sumptuous furnished rooms with their
magnificent robes are a total work of art that
seeks exclusiveness, expressiveness and
creativity beyond compare.
The artists Ilse Wolf and her daughter
Katja Morrison created unique handcrafted
Haute Couture robes and accessories,
a real firework of fabrics.
Experience the wonderful ambience in the

The GEWANDHAUS MUSEUM is open
from 9. April until 1. November
2023 on all Sundays and the following
public holidays
from 1:30 p.m until 5 p.m.

Admission charges
Individual visitors: 6,00 Euro
Pupils (10 - 15 years): 2,50 Euro
Children under 10 years are free
Guided tours
A tour lasts about one hour.
All year round on all days guided tours
of 5 or more guests are available but
have to be arranged in advance.
The price is 10 euros per person.
Car parking
Parking is available in front of the Museum
for cars and coaches
The Museum is not accessible barrier-free
